TYFOXIT – High-performance Secondary Coolant for applications down to -55° C
TYFOXIT® is a potassium acetate based, high-performance secondary coolant applicable for all indirect refrigeration systems. TYFOXIT® / water mixtures provide, depending on the concentration, cooling limits down to -55° C.
Product properties
The product combines favourable performance characteristics of traditional brines with good anti-corrosive properties of inhibited aqueous glycol solutions. The non-toxic, almost odourless liquid contains specific corrosion inhibitors, stabilizers and buffers, and is free of borax, nitrites, phosphates and amines. The long-term corrosion protection of TYFOXIT® covers all materials currently used in refrigeration technology such as steel, stainless steel grades, cast iron, brass, copper, red brass, bronze, and aluminium.
