TYFO-SPEZIAL - high-performance secondary coolant, developed especially for use in ground source heat pump systems
Product properties
The green-coloured, non-flammable, food safe product is adjusted to a freezing point of -13 °C. It neither must be diluted by water nor be mixed with other secondary coolants like ethanol-water mixtures, aqueous glycol solutions, or salt brines.
TYFO-SPEZIAL is compatible with all construction materials that are commonly used for ground source heat pump systems, e. g. stainless steel grades like chromium nickel steel, low nickel or nickel free chromium steel, resp., and chromium molybdenum steel grades.
TYFO-Spezial equipped with a non-ferrous metal corrosion inhibitor is available if copper, brass or bronze are used as construction materials for the circuit.Commonly used sealing materials are compatible with TYFO-Spezial in general. It is recommended, however, to check the resistance of a given material by performance tests before it is taken into use for the first time.
