SOLARCLIN from TYFOROP: Cleaning liquid für solar thermal systems (vacuum tube collectors)

The corrosion inhibitors of Tyfocor® GE reliably protect all metals and alloys normally used for Ground Source Heat Pumps even in mixed installations for long periods against corrosion, ageing and fouling. The inhibitor system of Tyfocor® GE neither contains borax nor nitrites, phosphates, nor amines.

Application

The cleaning effect of SOLARCLIN decreases when diluted with water or solar fluid, respectively. It is therefore important to empty the installation as completely as possible before filling it with SOLARCLIN. The collectors must be covered to avoid unadmissibly high temperatures. We recommend to circulate the system for 1-2 hours at 50-60 °C. Elevated temperatures should be avoided with respect to sealing materials like EPDM as commonly used in thermal solar systems.

Severe contamination of the system may require prolonged time of circulation. After the flushing has been terminated, the system must be drained completely again before filling it with fresh solar fluid. Residual amounts of SOLARCLIN must be removed by using compressed air.
