Refractometer for antifreeze determination

Refractometers for antifreeze measurement. The instrument allows quick testing of frost protection of secondary coolants and heat transfer fluids according to the principle of refraction (measurement of refractive index).

Measurement methods:

Apply 1-2 drops of the test liquid onto the prism surface. Then press the illuminating plate onto the prism surface.
Hold the pointy end against the light and turn theeyepiece such that the borderline is visible. The borderline shows the freezing point for the measured medium.
